1 x Restaurant size loaf with crusts removed and buttered (baked fresh on day of use)
Spray Jel-Ring lightly
Suggested fillings:
Shredded ham, avocado, grated cheese & carrot with a bit of mayo, mashed egg with mayo.
Method:
Place a small amount of lettuce or sprouts in the bottom of the lightly sprayed Jel-Ring. Place whole slices of bread up buttered side up into Jel-Ring (up sides and across bottom). Cut rest in half and place some around the ring (buttered side showing). Always slightly overlap slices.
Place first filling in and then cover with bread halves buttered side down, slightly overlapped. Push each layer down lightly to ensure a nice firm sandwich. Ensure inner and outer bread layers stay in place. Repeat layers with a different filling each time. Finish with bread buttered side down. Push firmly into Jel-Ring. Set in fridge. Remove centre circle first, then main lid. Turn out and cut into slices.
